Experience the history of wine and bourbon on a trip through the rolling Bluegrass. Visit sites in
Frankfort, Lawrenceburg and Midway to learn how these beverages have influenced the growth and industry to what it is today. Visit Woodford Reserve Distillery where the "official" bourbon of the Kentucky Derby is produced. Walk the grounds of yet another famous bourbon distillery where long - ago its executive served his turkey-hunting friends a concoction that became known as "Wild Turkey." Hear the story of a smitten Kentucky gentleman as he "wooed" his beautiful Southern bell into marriage and named the Four Roses bourbon in her honor. Follow the pathway of the ancient buffalo to Buffalo Trace Distillery and taste their spirits while touring the historic site that was one of the only four distilleries to remain open during prohibition.
