Dobree Adams - Weaver and Photographer
The artistic vision of Dobree Adams is expressed in fiber and
photography. Long recognized as one of Kentucky’s major contemporary
fiber artists, she has taken hundreds of photographs to record and
share the influences behind her weavings, images she has gathered in
her travels and at home on the Kentucky River farm north of Frankfort
that she shares with her husband, poet Jonathan Greene.

Grand Theatre
308 Saint Clair St., 502-352-7469 / The historic Grand Theatre, originally constructed as a vaudeville house in 1911 in the heart of downtown Frankfort, was restored by a local nonprofit organization into a multi purpose performing and visual arts center in 2009. The Theatre conducts live performances, streams live broadcasts such as the Metropolitan Opera and classical music, and shows critically acclaimed and classic films throughout the entire calendar year.
Jacob Vanderoort - Photographer
Born and raised in Holland. Traveled the world by means of the Royal Dutch Navy later because of a love for travel. Setteled in Kentucky in the mid 80's but continues to visit his native country as much as he can. Developed an interest in photography while visitng mandy different countries during service with the Royal Dutch Navy.
Jennifer Zingg - Artist
Full Circle is a unique art studio and gallery located in Frankfort's historic Bridge Street District. Displaying the artwork of more than two dozens artisans from Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, and Indiana, Full Circle also features art classes to adults and children. The gallery is home to nationally recognized artist and Frankfort resident, Jennifer Zingg, whose sculptural works have been featured on HGTV and PBS. Sallie Clay Lanham, an accomplished painter and teacher, is a resident of Frankfort, Kentucky. Wayne Cooley - Artist & Photographer
His photography and 'pen and ink' have appeared in the History Center Gift Shop and local retailers since 1985. Much of his work features Frankfort landmarks, historic sites, as well as the beauty which surrounds us. Now that he is retired from State Government as a graphic artist, he is interested to continue representing Frankfort and her rich history, by making his work more well known. Wayne Stacy - Artist
Mr. Stacy is a former U.S. Military man, a licensed electrician/contractor, and the owner of a custom computer and web solutions company. While born in CA, he was raised primarily between KY and Texas. Mr. Stacy has always been an artisan. He has been a sketch artist, and painter since before he could walk. He is a twice published poet, and writer of short stories. He has been a digital graphics artist for over ten years. In short order one of his prints "Cumberland Falls Bridge" was included in a coffee table book in the fall of 2009. It has only been folly preventing his awakening to photography so late in his life. Bluegrass Theatre Guild
A non-profit musical community theater dedicated to educating and entertaining. Founded in 1982, the Guild produces musicals, sponsors theater trips and workshops, and performs for schools, conventions, civic clubs and festivals. Capital Area Art Guild
An organization of local artists which promotes public knowledge and appreciation of the visual arts. The Guild sponsors educational activities through art exhibits and provides technique demonstrations at monthly meetings. Frankfort Arts Foundation
Frankfort / Franklin County's multidisciplinary community arts organization. Performances and events are held at Kentucky State University Bradford Hall as part of a community partnership and in the community. Capital City Chorale, Inc.

Capital Summer Concert Series
Find your way to downtown Frankfort on a summer Friday evening and be treated to a series of musical performances by various artists and groups. Frankfort Children Singers
A community chorus for young voices. The chorus performs at Christmas and spring concerts and other community events throughout the year upon invitation, including the Candlelight Tour, Commonwealth Christmas Tree Lighting, Commonwealth Credit Union’s Holiday Gathering, and concerts for residents at The Neighborhood and Ashwood Place.

Musical Arts Downtown (MAD)
Frankfort’s annual community music day camp for children (students entering the second through the eighth grades). Downtown churches take turns hosting the camp, usually held the last week of June.
